The forum is very powerful and the forum uses the power of theatre to depict many things, such as, it depicts sensitive social issues within a community and involves the audiences a lot, for example, it lets the audience resolve the issue face by face and lets them engage with the actors, which also makes them feel very engaged with the entire play itself. The British Council works with countries, such as UK and Sri Lanka. Their main target is to get to share this with local people and their goal is to get the local people to express themselves and resolve issues. In 5 years of this theatre they have managed to build a group of local people who are now involved int his theatre.
